Job Description
Being a part of the team and leading the development work effort for the development of Rapids Framework components which is developed using Java, J2EE, Struts.
# Ensuring the development meets all required specifications and requirements (both functional and non-functional).
# Evaluating Development Frameworks / Tools and making recommendations keeping the overall project roadmap and objectives in mind.
# Defining J2EE best practices and design / coding standards for the development team and ensuring these are being adhered to.
# Participating in development activities – including Tools setup, High / Low Level design, Coding, Unit Testing, Code reviews and walkthroughs, Defect fixing and Packaging.
# Requirements elaboration / analysis, translating requirements into design and code, ensuring team understands the requirements & design, providing estimations, taking part in discussions etc.
# Allocating and Tracking of development tasks and reporting periodic status.
# Identifying the training needs of the team, conducting technical interviews and in ensuring the new resources are on-boarded as per plan.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Candidate should be playing a role of lead – his designation can be Tech Lead / Team Lead / SSE with minimum 4+ years of experience.
# Object Oriented Designing experience, UML.
# Java front-end ( Java script, servlets, mvc STRUTS, java swing, applet, XML and XSLT, and CSS ) development.
# Java mid-term ( J2EE / EJB, Hibernate / Spring ) development.
# Application Server ( IBM Web sphere / Tom cat / Apache preferred ).
# Oracle PLSQL.
# UNIX shell script.
# Web Services.
#SOAP ( Service Oriented Architect experience ) experience.
# AOP frame work experience.
# Hands on Technical Lead experience. No Project Manager is needed for this position.
# Fundamentally they should be strong.
