Technical Skills and Experience:
Engineering Degree/ Computer Science Degree/MCA from a reputed University.
2-4 years of work experience.
Good conceptual knowledge of programming in general
Understanding of Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 and 3.5
Website administration experience with IIS 6.0, 7.0
Experience with Networking and administration of Operating Systems like WinXP, Windows 7 and Windows 2008 (32bit and 64bit)
Experience with Microsoft SQL Sever, ADO.NET and TSQL
Strong ability to investigate and get to the bottom of issues is a must
Prior experience in application support/maintenance is highly desirable
Exposure to virtualization technologies will be a plus
Exposure to basic database administration activities will be a plus
Exposure to automated build systems will be a plus.

QA Technology provides products and services for video game development and quality assurance activities to all EA World Wide Studios. As a member of the QA Technology team, you will provide Application support to studios all around the world and will participate in developing and sustaining leading edge software tools and frameworks used throughout EA and providing test automation services which directly contribute to the quality of EA console games.
This Software Engineer role is responsible for deployment and support of the central technology enterprise solutions provided by QA Technology. The position involves owning parts of the product. This role will also incorporate leadership, mentoring, best customer support practices, taking initiative and being creative in solving problems of installation, OS, SQL Server and networking based issues as well as investigating and finding resolutions based on response targets.
